We, the parishioners of St Benedict’s,
 strive to live out in our lives
the mission of Jesus Christ,
in our community and the world
Ideals
Participation in this mission is expressed through the following ideals:
 
  • developing faith and prayer life of individuals, families and the community
  • ensuring our teaching is relevant and relates to life and living
  • helping people discover themselves and their gifts
  • encouraging people to assume their responsibility in life and ministry
  • building a community of love, understanding and acceptance
  • actively fostering unity between churches
  • bearing witness to the wider community
  • working for social justice and providing service to those in need and being open to new calls of the Spirit.
